Junior Take-and-Make Craft: Origami

Location: Main Library - Frisco North Branch - Silverthorne South Branch - Breckenridge

Event Type: Crafts and Hobbies

Our October Junior Take-and-Make Craft is Origami! Take and Make Packs, including supplies and instructions, are available for pickup at each branch. Supplies are limited, so this project will be first come, first serve! Recommended ages 1st-5th grade. Please email your local branch to request your craft pack by clicking the links below.

Halloween Storytime on the Lawn @ North Branch

Join us Tuesday for storytime halloween at the North Branch! Come in costume and bundle up because we will be outside on the lawn. Please wear your masks and distance yourselves from other families. There will be a trick-or-treating outside parade. There will also be a take-and-make craft to bring home with you!

Funky Fall STEAM fest

Event Type: Crafts and Hobbies STEAM

STEAM Fest is happening on Wednesdays at the South Branch Library during the school year and is open to all K - 5th graders. Each week we have a different activity including, arts and crafts, Legos, science experiments, games, and more! Registration is required as space is limited to 10 students. A health screening by a parent or guardian must be completed one hour prior to the program. Email megan.quirk@summitcountyco.gov to register.

Little Readers - Baby Storytime at the North Branch Library

Little Readers storytime has moved to THURSDAYS! The suggested age range for Little Readers is infant through 2 and a 1/2 years of age. We still have fun books along with songs, rhymes, finger-plays, scarves and rhythm instruments. Little Readers story time is designed to help support pre- literacy skills and to develop a love of reading! Halloween theme, costumes welcome. Attendance is limited so please email sclnorthbranch@gmail.com to sign up.
