Gingerbread Houses Win Over Summit County
The Summit County Main Library thanks all Summit County bakers who submitted a gingerbread house for our Fourth Annual Gingerbread House Contest. We greatly appreciate the time, talent and goodies you used to construct each and every creation. Thank you for participating in this holiday event.
The winners of this year’s competition are:
First place: Nick Payne
Second Place: Sterling and Maisy Cook
Third place: Brady and Christine Ohi
Honorable Mention: Dax and Dana Blanks
Many votes were cast at the Main Library during the contest. Thank you to the Friends of the Library for sponsoring the event and prizes.
For ideas for a snowy day check out the books, CDs and DVDs the library has available on Gingerbread Houses. Or get creative and try one of these Most Incredible Gingerbread Houses of 2016. We hope everyone enjoyed viewing each one-of-a-kind creation and we look forward to more creative and edible homes next year.
