Libraries are for Everyone
06/23/20
Now, more than ever, it is important to recognize that libraries play an essential role in these turbulent times.
Libraries offer free resources for learning, education and enjoyment through the exploration of uncensored and unbiased topics. Access to movies, audio books, e-books and magazines can provide escape and temporary enjoyment when life seems overwhelming. Streaming craft tutorials, meditation practices, and story times can give parents momentary reprieve and children structured entertainment. And now, with our Summer Reading Programs all live on Beanstack, kids of all ages can get a head start in reading before the new school year begins.
The most important message that all libraries wish to convey, is that libraries are for everyone. No matter what your race, age, gender, disability or income level - libraries do our best to never discriminate.
