Welcome! Your Feedback on new or expanded South Branch, Breckenridge

A committee of library staff, Friends & Foundation members and other community stakeholders is underway with a study to determine needs and options for expanding services at the Breckenridge South Branch Library, which may be in the form of a building expansion, a new facility or changes to the existing space.  Over the years the South Branch Library has increased its programming and services and in turn the number of visitors.  The South Branch is the smallest library in the County system, but its annual visitors and children’s program participation are at or near those of the Main Library, which is four times larger.

We would like your input…and ask you to share any ideas you may have.   There will also be a public meeting 6 pm Tuesday night, October 4 at the South Branch to share preliminary ideas in response to your feedback and work completed by the Committee.

Areas we’re seeking input on include:

  • Services or programs you’d like to see added or expanded
  • Activity spaces you’d like to see added or  expanded
  • Special features you may have seen in other libraries that appeal
  • Any other comments you may have
