TEEN ADVISORY BOARD

The next TAB meeting will be Monday, March 19, 2012, 3:00 to 4:00 PM

Students in 6th through 12th grade are invited to help plan the library's Young Adult Summer Reading Program.  This year's theme is "Reading Is So Delicious!"  We'll talk about food, the final party, food, the grand prize, and more food.  Snacks will be provided.

Summer Reading Program begins Monday, June 4, 2012

Pick up a goodie bag at any Summit County Library and get started reading.  Get a free book and an entry into the grand prize drawing for every 8 hours read.  The grand prize drawing will take place at the final party on Thursday, August 2, 2012.

APRIL IS NATIONAL POETRY MONTH

Create book spine poetry for display at the North Branch Library.

Choose about 3 to 5 books that make a poem when you stack them up and read the titles on the spines from top to bottom.  Each acceptable entry wins a prize.

Missing Ending Book Club

Seventh through 12th graders may pick up the next free book and surprise package at the North Branch Library, 651 Center Circle, Silverthorne, in September 2012.  Read the book to the stapled pages (the missing ending) and come to the meeting in October for snacks, games, and a craft.
