Location: North Ten Mile Creek Trail in Frisco- 400 West Main Street. What to bring: a notebook and pencil if desired for writing key details and to do a quick sketch of each plant, hiking shoes or sneakers, sunglasses, a hat, and water bottle Meet at the parking lot, we will be hiking a short way up the trail and stopping to identify and learn about a few local medicinal herbs and flowers! We will discuss common uses, medicinal properties, leaf/stem/petal/root identifying factors, ethical harvesting methods, and safety concerns. No registration required. Age range: Teens and Adults.
