We invite you to join us for the Historically Speaking Library lecture series in partnership with the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance. Colorado native author Randi Samuelson-Brown will discuss her novel "The Beaten Territory", a historical fiction novel set in Denver, circa 1890. Randi’s book follows the lives of Annie Ryan, who runs a second-rate brothel, and Lydia Chambers, a society woman suffering from a laudanum habit and a bad marriage. It is a rollicking tale of blurred lines and flowing booze, and delivers a compelling look at the intrigues of the Wild West.
