Ready. Set. Speak! An Improv Gameshow

If making a fool of yourself were a competition, this might be it. Who’s got the best quack? What did 6 say to 7 after 9 disappeared? Imitate someone afraid of the word “moist.” Act out the bear waking up from hibernation who’s not really a “morning person.” And play a Swiftie, after Taylor starts dating Frankenstein’s monster. The South Branch Library will be hosting an improv gameshow for all 6th-12th graders on November 28 from 4-5 p.m. The best performers will be rewarded with prizes, but all will be gifted a reasonable dose of absurdity. This is the first event in a series of programs related to our 2023-24 writing contest. Players will be encouraged to develop their short skits into complete written stories. Questions?
