A 3 part discussion series for adults. We will discuss the learning benefits of some of the most popular video games played by children and how to talk about them as parents with reference to: Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, and Among Us.

We will discuss why ESports have become a sanctioned high school sport, what it takes to be on a team, and the skills they build with reference to: League of Legends, Rocket League, and Splatoon.

April 18 @ 6pm - Video Games and Mental Health
We will discuss how video games create a sensation of "proxied embodiment" and how that contributes to escapism, our love of low-stakes games, feeling accomplished, and serves as an access point for understanding emotions and mental differences with reference to: Animal Crossing, Spiritfarer, Celeste, and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
