Check out TumbleBooks: Reading for Kids!
Do your children love playing on the computer or with your phone or tablet?
Now, they can read or listen to books with any device! The Summit County Library has a subscription to TumbleBook Library, an online collection of FREE, unlimited e-books for children. Tumblebooks contains a large selection of storybooks, read alongs, eBooks, graphic novels, puzzles, games and more. Using TumbleBooks is a great way to encourage tech-savvy kids to read!
How it works
You can use your child’s chromebook, a computer, tablet, or smartphone! All you need is an internet connection. There are no downloads—books are streamed right to your device at the click of a button. There’s also a free app available for iPhone or Android.
Awesome features
In addition to picture books, the site also includes Spanish and French books, read-along chapter books, nonfiction books, playlists, language learning features, videos, and exciting games and puzzles.
