In addition, the South Branch library holds a mini-book sale annually in July. All three libraries have ongoing book sales with all funds going to the Friends of the Library.
The Friends is a nonprofit all-volunteer group originally organized in Summit County in 1960 and incorporated in 1977. The status of 501(c)3 was obtained in October 1978.
