Our 2024 Community Read is "Spare Parts: Four Undocumented Teenagers, One Ugly Robot, and the Battle for the American Dream." Lorenzo Santillan was on the robotics team of students at Carl Hayden Community High School in Phoenix, Arizona, which in 2004 won an underwater robotics contest by defeating competitors from outstanding universities around the country including the famed Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Join us from 6-7pm for a Meet & Greet and Book Signing. The talk will begin at 7pm. This is a free event open to all. The book Spare Parts is available for sale at all 3 libraries and the Next Page Books in Frisco.
