How many parking passes does the library have?

Visitors and locals wanting to hike Quandary Peak or McCullough Gulch between June 17 and September 17, 2023 are required to reserve a parking spot at the Quandary Peak Trailhead or take a shuttle from Breckenridge to access the Quandary Peak and McCullough Gulch trailheads.
Visitors and locals can purchase parking reservations and purchase shuttle tickets two weeks in advance of their hiking date at https://hikequandary.com/. (Locals can ride the shuttle for free.)
By using your Summit County library card you get a parking pass that is valid for one vehicle for FREE! This is what you save:
1) Check the online catalog to see if one is available.
2) Driving over? Call your Summit County library the same day you want to pick it up and we can put it aside for you.
3) Bring your Summit County library card to the circulation desk and we will get you the parking pass for checkout.

The folder includes: a Parking Pass to hang in your front view mirror, Quandary Peak and McCullough Gulch overview, Hiking Tips, Map, and Search and Rescue Tips.
Hang this parking tag inside your car on your front view mirror. Note: If you do not place this visibly in your car you could be subject to a $100 parking ticket. The library will not be held responsible for any parking tickets incurred by the library patron.
This pass is good to park at the Quandary Peak Trailhead for one day during the week you check out the pass. No renewals. Please return it to the 24/7 outdoor book drop of the library you checked it out from or you will be charged a $10 late fee . The replacement cost is $50.00 if you do not bring it back.

Yes, a guest card is $10.00 and valid for 1 year. This will still save you $45 on the weekends! Learn more about how to get a Summit County card even if you are not local.
1 week/ 7 days. No renewals. You can return it in the outdoor book drop of the library you checked it out from or will be charged a late free if it is not returned on time.
You are welcome to use your parking pass an alternative day that week when the weather is better, as long as it is not due to be returned to the library before that.
