2022 Travel Series: Escape Around the World
There is no doubt Summit County residents love to travel and 2021 wasn't easy year for those hodopiles stuck at home!
Here at the library, we can't keep the newest guide books on the shelves for long. No destination is too remote and no adventure too daunting. For the last 15 years, Janet Good, Friends of the Library president, has sought out our traveling locals and invited them to show off their captivating pictures from their trips around the world. This year we have another wonderful line up of locals who will be sharing exciting stories, beautiful photos and travel advice; including what it is like to travel during a pandemic.
As we start 2022, we are all looking to escape more then ever. So we invite you to sit back on Thursdays evenings this winter, and enjoy a variety of journeys around the world. There is something for everyone so don't miss the chance to ignite your travel bug and book those plane tickets as soon as the pandemic has improved.
This year we will start out with a virtual presentation in January, move to the South Branch Library in Breckenridge to explore the U.S. by road trip and Egypt, and then head to the North Branch Library in Silverthorne to travel to South America and Europe. Here is this year's line up:
Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.

February 3: Solo Road Tripping through the Lower 48 and their National Parks - Genevieve Brusilow at the South Branch Library in Breckenridge (Watch here.)
