2023 Travel Series: Escape Around the World
01/01/23
There is no doubt Summit County residents love to travel and 2022 was a year for all those adventure seekers to get back on the road.
Here at the library, we can't keep the newest guide books on the shelves for long. No destination is too remote and no adventure too daunting. For the last 15 years, Friends of the Library president, Janet Good sought out our traveling locals and invited them to show off their captivating pictures from their trips around the world. This year we have another wonderful line up of locals who will be sharing exciting stories, beautiful photos and travel advice.
As we start 2023, we are all looking foward to escaping more than ever. So we invite you to come back on Thursdays evenings this winter, enjoy a variety of journeys around the world and bring plenty of questions. There is something for everyone so don't miss the chance to ignite your travel bug.
This year we will start out with a trip to South Africa at the Main Library in Frisco and then head to the South Branch Library in Breckenridge to explore Portugal and Japan.
No registration required. All ages welcome.
